INTEGRATIVE CANCER CARE
Cancer is more than a diagnosis.
Supporting the person through the complexity of cancer — alongside appropriate medical care.
Cancer affects more than the tumour.
A cancer diagnosis can affect far more than one part of your health. Energy, digestion, sleep, immune function, emotional wellbeing, relationships, work, and your sense of what comes next can all be affected.
I work with people who want support through those layers – whether you are newly diagnosed, going through treatment, recovering from treatment, or living with advanced disease.
My role is not to replace appropriate cancer treatment. It is to support the person going through it, understand what is happening, and identify what may be useful.
Cancer care is more than treating the cancer.
Cancer and its treatment can place enormous demands on the body. Supporting your health through that process may mean paying attention to the things that affect how you feel, function, recover, and move through treatment.
Depending on the person and the situation, we may look at nutrition, digestion, sleep, energy, nervous-system function, metabolic health, symptoms, medications, or the effects of treatment.
Sometimes that means keeping things simple. Sometimes it means taking a deeper look. The goal is not to do everything. It is to find what is useful.

Integrative Support
Bringing the different pieces of your care together and deciding what is appropriate, useful, and safe for your particular situation.
There isn’t one path through cancer.
Your situation, your diagnosis, your treatment, your history, and your goals are different from anyone else’s.
Naturopathic care may have a role alongside surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, recovery, or care for advanced disease. What that support looks like depends on where you are and what you need.
We start by understanding your situation and your goals, then work out what is appropriate, what is supported by evidence, and what is actually worth doing.
Good naturopathic care doesn’t have to compete with good medical care.
Cancer care can involve many moving parts – your diagnosis, treatments, medications, lab results, symptoms, nutrition, and everything else happening in your life.
I want to understand that bigger picture rather than simply add more to it. That means considering what you are already doing, looking for potential interactions or gaps, and being thoughtful about what additional support actually makes sense.
The goal isn’t to replace your medical care. It is to bring the right pieces together so that your care supports the whole person.
You are still a person, not just a diagnosis.
Cancer can make life feel like it has suddenly become a series of appointments, scans, blood tests, medications, and decisions.
But underneath all of that is still a human being – with a body, a history, a family, a life, and a desire to feel as well and live as fully as possible.
That is the person I want to care for.
Let's start with where you are.
If you're looking for individualized naturopathic support through cancer, we can begin by understanding your situation, your goals, and what may be useful for you.
